This is one of my favorite sites to book my flights and transportation plus accommodations through. I’ve found, it’s the fastest way to book any possible option you can think of. Here are some awesome features:
- Want to know how to get around? Book your flights, trains & buses around the world through this site.
- It makes picking dates easier. Once you put the destination in & click the departure date, the calendar pops up showing the lowest prices so you can customize your dates around your budget.
- Their ‘Explore Map’ shows all the prices for surrounding areas, so you can identify if there is another location in the budget close by. It also shows to the left, different ideas for activities….ie: a Romance Trip, Nature etc.
- Click on ‘Holiday’ at the top of the screens, put in your date and then click ‘All Destinations’….you get a list of the lowest costs in each destination.

Because I plan my main travel a year ahead, I put everything in and grab the best deals as I get alerted…it helps to stretch that travel budget. - When I’m out-and-about in an area I’m unfamiliar with, this is a great site to find the best local restaurants. Go to their ‘More’ filter & search through there
- Guides section is so much fun. Any…and I mean ANY type of of theme or topic you are looking for in travel, they’ve grouped together here……. some examples: Ambiance, Archaeology, Art, Atmosphere, Beer, Botanical Gardens, Cafes, Canals, Carnival, Castles, Christmas Markets, Classical Music, Gourmet Food, Hot springs, Lakes, Markets, Opera, Pubs, Rafting, Rainforests…..this is byno means the end of the list, I only picked a couple I’ve looked into…the list is enormous, try it!
- ‘Trip Huddle’ is another exciting feature that gets everyone involved. Create a trip and have everyone log in to contribute dates & ideas for locations, getting everyone in vacation mode.
