If you live in Florida or are one of those lucky “snowbirds” who owns their second home there, you may qualify for the Florida Resident Passes at all the major theme parks. I’m told you will have to produce a copy of the deed and proof you are here most of the year if it’s a second home. However, what a great way to spend your time!

Now, this is what I call “The Travel Stacker Hacker” for travel. Sign up for the Discover travel card by clicking on the picture below.

Go to MyPoints.com by clicking on the highlighted word in this sentence. When you get there, sign up and peruse all the places you shop at already.

Next, go to eGifter.com by clicking on the highlighted word in this sentence also. Peruse all the gift cards you’ll purchase for special events & holiday gifts.

Now, do all your shopping with your Discover card on MyPoints.com. And, Buy all your gift cards on eGifter.com with your Discover card. As you do this, you get points for EVERY DOLLAR SPENT at MyPoints & eGifter. Each company you purchase from on those sites give different points per dollar spent.

Throughout Orlando, in some convenience stores, gift shops & the outlets, you’ll see kiosks with signs saying ” Get your discounted (or free) theme park tickets here!” So you know, this will probably get you less than the other options. You will have to sign up for a timeshare tour at one of the local vacation clubs to get the tickets. But, they are usually limited on how much they can get discounted since you’re not staying on the property.
